Elatine Triandra is basically stem plant but has been used as a foreground plant where the plant stems are taught to "creep" along the substrate. Although a good substrate will encourage growth, actually it is not really necessary.
Sufficient lighting is an absolute must for Elatine Triandra. Elatine also very greedy for nitrates. Light green color (olive green) make this plant is very beautiful contrast to the foreground.
