Glossostigma elatinoides is one of the smallest available foreground plants for Aquascape. Glosso popularized by Takashi Amano in the 1980s, when he made a stunning aquascape the foreground (carpet) Glosso.

High light (> 3wpg) will make glosso compact growth and make these plants remain small and propagate and spread quickly into the carpet. Otherwise, glosso will grow tall to seek the light. CO2 is also needed by glosso to develop rapidly.
